Bro. Randall Fears
God has blessed Randall Fears with the gift of music; he is a songwriter, clinician, organist, and pianist. Randall began piano lessons at age six (at the demand of his parents) and continued throughout high school. He also played for the Russell Fears Singers and at church during his teenage years. Randall shares his talents and experience with church choirs and music departments providing workshops to motivate and build their music ministries. He has participated in the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) and Midwest Conference of Christian Artists (MCCA). Randy has worked with gospel artists, Chester D.T. Baldwin, Norman Hutchins, Beverly Crawford, James Bignon, Kathy Taylor-Brown, Carlton Fellows, and many others. In 2005, Randall released his first CD entitled, "All the Praise" with the group Blessed Through Christ (BTC). The CD has received good reviews and airplay across the US, abroad, and on the Internet. In March 2006, the group aired on Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat on The Word Network. The first single from the project, "All the Praise" has become a praise and worship favorite in many churches on Sunday morning. In 2006, BTC opened for Byron Cage and Walter Hawkins. Randall served for 24 years as a musician and Minister of Music at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Kansas City before leaving in August 2006. His current endeavors include a Christmas CD, a sophomore project for BTC, a patented music teaching system, and Randall Fears Music Ministry Workshop. |
